Hey you Birmingham people....

Just wondered if anyone fancied coming down to Reading for a weekend or a Saturday some time soon?

Let me know, would be good to see you all. Lots of floor space and 2 comfy sofas and a spare half a bed if people want to stop over. Or if we stop at my mum and dad's there is a single bed, a double bed another single bed and even more floor space.

Could be a laugh, but understand if no-one wants to xx

Due to leaving my phone charger in Birmingham, I haven't been able to charge my phone and have therefore lost loads and loads of my numbers (they were stored to the phone not the sim - doh, lesson learned!).

Anyway, I now have a new phone (same number) but still haven't got any numbers.

Can you all leave a reply on here with your numbers (saves you wasting credit and texting me!) so at least I know who is texting me... at the moment I am having to ask who everyone is! I don't need Kelly's, Rich's or Sarah's, but everyone else I still need.

I have set it to screen comments so no-one else will get it.

Just thought I would let everyone know that I got the job at Lockhart and I start next Monday morning.
So yeah, that's quite daunting.
Erm, what else? Oh yeah, living at home is proving to be quite hard and I'm feeling very down. I love my parents and get on well with my mum most of the time, but my dad is proving to be even more nightmarish to live with than before I moved to Birmingham. Needless to say it's making me sad and down in the dumps and not good company.
However, having said that, I am coming to Birmingham on either Friday or Saturday to see Kelly and Shaun and Ruby for Kelly's birthday and it will be nice to catch up with people if they don't already have plans.

Just thought I'd do a little update... went for my 2nd interview today. It went really well and I'm feeling more confident about it. I mentioned the reservations I had about it, and the guy seemed to be persuading me that I do want the job which was cool, so I'm taking that as a positive thing. He also said that if I was really worried about taking the job on and not liking it, that I should be honest, but also, he is happy to take me on on a contractual basis if I want. Think I might well take it if I get offered it... we'll see.
In other news, I'm ill again. Plodding on with the rubbish temp job in the school. There really is no need for me to be there, but 5 hours a day and being paid for it.. sounds like a great job, but it's not. They don't even talk to me, or say good morning. Whoop de doo!
What else... oh yeah, went out on Friday and got totally smashed. Was a really fun night though and I woke up on Saturday morning with some skittles and a cocktail umbrella in my pocket... took a little while for the memories to come back but when they did luckily I laughed and not cringed. Though I must apologise to gdave if he saw me acting outragiously... I don't get it from my mum!
So yeah, that's me. Ill and feeling a bit down, but hopefully things are on the up.

Looks like I might have a temporary job starting on Monday until they recruit someone permanently... but Vicky at the agency doesn't think it's going to pay me enough to take on permanently, but at least it will get me out there for a few days and earning some money (which all helps when I have my car insurance and service this month and my tax and MOT next month!!).
Fingers crossed for me :)

Oh yeah, and I have NO idea what I will be doing!!!! Vicky did tell me, but it all kind of went over my head LOL... oh well, could be fun! All I heard was something about updating a website... should be easy enough... shouldn't it??? And I have NO idea where it is... but I have a car so it can't be too bad... can it??? All I know, it my hourly rate, which is reasonable enough ;o)

eeeek. Ah well, these things are set to try us!

Due to a severe lack of funds - I have spent WAY too much on Christmas presents and going out etc - I am cancelling my party...

However, if people still want to come over and dress up, they are more than welcome, but unfortunately I won't be able to provide anything much in the way of food or drinks, and having brought everything home with me apart from the clothes I need this week, there won't be much in the way of entertainment either, unless anyone can bring a few cd's and a mini stereo with them?!

Sorry for the short notice, but at the moment, I am having to borrow a tenner from my mum just to get back to Birmingham this evening after my hair appointment, otherwise I am totally stuck. I have £50 going into my account on Wednesday from my savings, but that will be spent on driving home again next weekend and me surviving the week.

How do I get myself into such messes?? I have no idea. Bread and water for me then....

Sorry again, as I said, if you want to come over, please do, but can understand that I'm not offering a lot therefore it may well be boring!!

I've done a few custom posts recently, but figure that some of you other folks don't know that I am leaving Birmingham at Christmas and moving back to Reading.

There are several reasons for this (some of which I can't go into on here), but the main one is that I miss my friends and want to be closer to my family etc. I came up here to live with Rich, and have stuck it out for another 18 months and had some absolutely brilliant times, but I feel like it's time to go back to my real home now. It's a bit like I've moved here to go to uni, I've done my course and got some life experience, and now it's time to go back home again.

I hope I get to see you all before I leave (on Christmas eve of all days!) and I'll be out and about before then so give me a shout about any nights out.

Someone just came to view our house and the spare room. She came in pink jogging bottoms. I tried to earwig into what she was saying to our landlady and all I can say is that thank f**k she seems to be more interested in one of the other proerties and not ours!!!
